Partners With God In Venezuela
Williams and Danalis Arzola, members of Journey church in Raleigh, NC, are being called by God to plant a church in a toutist area of Venezuela, a region with 12,000 residents, 85% whom have no personal relationship with Jesus.
THE ARZOLA FAMILY
Originally from Venezuela, the Arzola family are down to earth believers, with an immense passion to make Jesus famous in Raleigh, Venezuela and around the globe. Williams drives a taxi and sells cars, while Danalis is the face for her “Voice and Music Academy.” Most recently, this couple were used by God to birth a ministry to Hispanics in the Raleigh, NC, area. Every awakened moment, God is creating within them a love for “missions,” especially in their home country, Venezuela.
VENEZUELA
In America, most of us know Venezuela from our discussions about oil, the numerous “Miss World” winners, and Major League Baseball superstars. But did you know that Venezuela, a country of 28 million people, is 75% Catholic, has 35 ethnic groups, and is the home of a large group of immigrants( mostly Chinese and Columbian)? The spiritual hunger is great, and real.
CHIGUARA (Pronounced: ch, like in cherry…gay…vara)
This is an area of 12,000 residents, 85% who have no personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Somewhat isolated, Chiguara is know for her tourism.
PARTNERS WITH GOD IN VENEZUELA
God is leading Williams and Danalis Arzola to plant a church, open a voice and music academy, develop a center for discipleship training for believers from places like Colombia and Ecuador, offer a special environment for those in need of drug recovery…counseling…emotional support, birth a place for church leaders from the region who need to renew their soul, and more. This project has been termed the “PARTNERS WITH GOD IN VENEZUELA” challenge.
SHORT-TERM NEED
God is leading Williams and Danalis to purchase and develop a ministry center. In order to develop the land, which has already been purchased, $50,000 is needed. Plus, $6,000 will cover their immediate ministry needs.
LONG-TERM NEED
Volunteers, an airplane, keyboard, drums, guitars, copier/printer, airline tickets, medical supplies, staff, and more will be needed in the months ahead, especially since the overall mission includes ministering to the eight people groups in the Amazon state of Venezuela who have never heard The Gospel, or read even one verse the Bible in their own language/dialect.
